Accessible parking spaces give us a sense of normalcy (Your Letters)

To the Editor:
You know those reserved parking places by the entrances to public buildings? I never really appreciated them until my wife fell and broke a bunch of stuff. She could just choose to stay home and shuttle to medical professionals, but those accessible parking spaces make it possible to wheel around the markets, church and all the rest.
I confess, I used to wonder if it was necessary, but then it happened to us. I know it’s the law, but having them really does give us some sense of a normal life right now. Thank you!
